I'm not really sure why I feel compelled to post here, but I do.
Anyway, I'm a sprightly 22-year-old female type thing who's always had some inclination towards exercise. My recent areas of interest lie primarily in running and, more recently, strength training. I've applied to the military and have, since late spring/early summer, been working on getting in better shape so I can pass the fitness test and survive basic training. (I haven't been scheduled for this yet - I'm only writing the aptitude test next week. Better to be prepared though, obvs.)
Lately, I've been slacking off a little, and a lot of that is because I'm bored. Anyway, I'm here for that feel-good sense of community (snark included) and am also combing through the archives and tags for ideas and so I don't end up doing stupid things or asking ridiculous questions. It's possible I may attempt to socialise with some of you. I could use some internet friends *pouting and sad violin music* Other than that, well, I don't know.
